It is a listed company in the New York Stock Exchange since 1997. The group is one of the South East Asia's largest manufacturers of low tension, medium and high voltage power cables, telecommunication cables, optical fiber cables, enamelled wire, and UL/CSA electronics wire, which meet the specified standards, customers' specification and passed the quality under stringent tests.

Sigma Cable can offer a full range of armoured and non-armoured power control cables, instrumentation and as well as fire resistant cables, including Low Smoke Halogen free cables. These cables are mainly used in building, street lighting, oil and gas industry and in Powergrid's power transmission, distribution infrastructure projects.

By mid 2002, the company is relocating to a bigger premises at Benoi Road in Jurong. The new building and the manufacturing processes are to be upgraded with modern technology to achieve higher productivity, lower the cost towards competitiveness and poise for changes in the marketplace.
